Kodi Scheer is an award-winning fiction writer and freelance editor. She has taught writing at the University of Michigan as well as McGill University. For her work as writer-in-residence at the University of Michigan Comprehensive Cancer Center, she was awarded the Dzanc Prize for Excellence in Literary Fiction and Community Service. Incendiary Girls was named an Amazon Best Book of the Year (Short Stories) in 2014. Her work has appeared in The Chicago Tribune, Poets & Writers, and The Iowa Review, among other publications.
